It's basically a small research colony on an alien world. Many of the buildings are connected by a monorail.

ok so what's the aim of the project, what is it for, how will it be executed..Is it going to be one large illustration containing all of those elements or will it be something 3d used for other purposes rather than just display. And what would I have to do? d oyou want a simple image of the train, or the 3d model itself or ..I donno.. I'm thinking of the technicalities outside the image itself :)

The aim of the project is to create an integrative scifi story universe that includes planets from people on DA. It's basically a confederation of scifi hobbyists working together in a massive collaboration.

I can't afford to pay commissions anyway, so I'm not too picky about how you want to do set it up. To start off I think it would be good to just have a simple image of the train, and if at some point you're interested in doing a 3D model that would be pretty awesome too :)

Can you give me some details about what you had in mind for it(look, feel, what kind of tech does that faction use...anything u can think of)? So I'll have a place to start :)

I had one train in the background of a sketch I did earlier ([link]), but you're welcome to use plenty of artistic liberty with this. Personally, I think "Train Revision III" looks a lot cooler than the train in the sketch I made :)

RC35 is highly technologically advanced, but they make use of traditional technologies as well. For instance, they have antigrav hovercraft, but they also make use of four-wheel rovers, as well as helicopters and motorcycles. A traditional monorail would be fine, but anti-grav and/or mag-lev combinations are also cool too :)

I like the idea a lot :D I'll start drawing as soon as I clear up my schedule. I'll upload the train whenever I finish it but it's gonna take a while since my plate is full at the moment. :D Thanks for the invite..so to speak.
